Moses Foster Named Mike Hughes Ad Person of the Year
West Cary Group President and CEO Moses Foster has been recognized as Mike Hughes Ad Person of the Year by the Richmond Ad Club. He accepted the award during the 2014 Richmond Show held April 10, 2015, at the Hotel John Marshall.
“This award is an honor and one that I share with the entire West Cary Group team,” says Foster. “Their endless creativity and boundless dedication to the success of our clients is thrilling to witness. I’m inspired to lead every single day.”
The Richmond Ad Club presents the Ad Person of the Year Award to an individual who empowers employees and enriches Central Virginia with creative energy and leadership. Last year, the award was renamed in honor of Mike Hughes, The Martin Agency’s creative leader who passed away in 2013.
Foster opened West Cary Group in 2007 with the idea of combining an ROI mindset with best marketing practices. Today the agency employs 30 and serves clients on both the east and west coasts. Foster sits on the Board of Directors for the Direct Marketing Association, the Greater Richmond Chamber, Venture Richmond and HCA Chippenham and Johnston-Willis Hospitals.
“I’m happy to say that this year’s selection was particularly difficult because there were so many deserving leaders in Richmond,” remarked Jason St. Peter, president of the Richmond Ad Club. “However, Moses stood out to us all as someone who is not only deserving of this award, but also makes Richmond a stronger advertising community."
