WCG Looks Toward a Digital Future with Two New Hires
These days, companies can build an entire brand experience within a tiny mobile app. With permission, businesses can send offers to consumers equipped with mobile phones in real time based on likes and locations. The emergence of social media sites has given marketers touch points with their audience they’ve never had before.
The future of digital marketing is bright, and West Cary Group is supplying two new lights. We’ve given our marketing and communications agency a digital boost by hiring Scott Garber as our new Senior Digital Producer and Khoa Nguyen as the firm’s new Digital Designer.
“You only have to look at the current world of marketing to see where it’s going,” says Camille Blanchard, West Cary Group Vice President, Account Services. “This year, Adobe is building an entire Digital Marketing Suite with a component that combines social publishing, monitoring, ad buying and analytics. In February, I attended the Social Media Strategies Summit in Las Vegas, and members of our Creative Team just came back from SXSW in Austin. There’s one constant throughout: digital is the future of marketing. West Cary Group is ready.”
Scott brings rich experience from years of developing integrated marketing plans for a host of companies that have harnessed the power of email, websites and social media. Khoa’s specialties lie in dynamic website and application creation, enhancing the Digital Team with his deep knowledge of CSS, XHTML, jQuery, Media Queries, web marketing and 3-D animation.
“One of the things I love about digital is possibility,” says Scott. “It’s a wide-open playing field – especially in terms of integrated communications solutions – for marketing agencies with the diverse talent to capitalize on it. West Cary Group has assembled a competitive team that makes strategic marketing plays for our clients. I’m proud to be a part of it.”
“With the emergence of digital, it’s an exciting time for marketing and West Cary Group,” adds Khoa. “It’s going to be a tremendous journey. I’m happy to help steer the ride.”
